Governments in India scaling up use of double-fortified salt

States in India have been scaling up the use of double-fortified salt in an effort to combat iron and iodine deficiencies. In 2018, the governments of both Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh made double-fortified salt available through the public food distribution system.
