Overview

The purpose of this study is to interpret the socio-demographic impacts on receipt of Vitamin A supplementation in Bangladesh.

Utilizing data from the Bangladeshi demographic and health surveys for 2007 and 2011, a log binomial regression was conducted to dissect the intersections of education and exposure to mass media on receipt of vitamin A supplementation.

The results determine that education and exposure to mass media campaigns positively influence mother’s intake of vitamin A supplementation.
