Watch: Improving salt iodization in Tanzania

This paper presents an analysis of the salt supply across the Sub-Saharan region. A summary is provided of salt assessments (2005) commissioned by the Micronutrient Initiative, which were used to map the flow of salt across the sub-continent. The salt assessments were also used to identify key roadblocks/challenges, so that they can inform strategies to accelerate progress toward Universal Salt Iodization.
