The Micronutrient Initiative (MI) works in Afghanistan to deliver several life-saving and life-enhancing micronutrient interventions, including a vitamin A supplementation program that reaches up to 90 per cent of preschool children.
With the support of the Government of Canada through the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), MI has partnered the Ministry of Public Health in Afghanistan to implement micronutrient & nutrition programs that are helping to save and improve the lives of women and children in Afghanistan.
