Manoj Raut joined Nutrition International in 2012 and is currently Regional Manager, Research and Evaluation, for the Asia region. He is a trained demographer and researcher with more than a decade of relevant experience working at state, national and regional levels in program management, monitoring, research and evaluation. In his role, he manages research and evaluation studies in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Nepal and Pakistan. He provides quality assurance during the design and execution of evaluations and extends research and technical support to Nutrition International’s programs in the Asia region.
Manoj has expertise in research, large scale survey data analysis, methods of population projections, demographic techniques and estimation of denominators for computation of various indicators. He has a PhD in Population Studies and a Masters in Population Studies, with a specialization in Biostatistics. He also has an MPhil and a Masters in Psychology.
