Roushika Gawne is Chief of Staff and Sr. Director, strategy, at Nutrition International and a member of the Executive Management Committee. In this role, she leads high-level cross-organizational projects, including advancing the investment case and strategy, supporting change management, strengthening organizational design, and helping build out new areas of work and innovation. 

Since joining Nutrition International in 2021, Roushika has held progressive leadership roles, including Director of Strategy, Director of Coordination, and Senior Manager, Advocacy. Across these positions, she has played a key role in shaping strategic direction, improving coordination, and driving delivery across the organization. 

Roushika brings more than 15 years of experience in strategy, program management, and policy across international development, philanthropy, and government. Before joining Nutrition International, she worked as an Operations Consultant with MedAccess, Associate Director at The Power of Nutrition, and in portfolio management and strategy at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF). Earlier in her career, she held roles with the Teenage Cancer Trust, Harwood Levitt Consulting, and FreshMinds, and gained experience in parliamentary research and policy development through positions with UK Members of Parliament. 

Her career has spanned advancing access to medicines, mobilizing resources for global nutrition, and influencing policy to improve health outcomes. She has extensive expertise in strategy development, project management, international development, and stakeholder engagement.
