Tanya Trevors is the Director of Women’s and Children’s Health and Rights at Global Affairs Canada, where she brings over two decades of experience working both domestically and internationally on global health, gender equity, food security and nutrition issues.

She is deeply committed to supporting the world’s most vulnerable populations in all their diversity, with a strong focus on women and girls. Before joining Global Affairs Canada, Tanya served in several senior advisory roles for bilateral, multilateral, and non-governmental organizations including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Save the Children, the United States Agency for International Development and UNICEF.

She holds a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition from the University of British Columbia, as well as a Masters of Science in Nutrition from McGill University.
