2022: celebrating milestones, innovations and making a difference globally

The purpose of this study is to provide a conclusive review of mandatory cereal grain fortification legislation, including standards and monitoring.
A total of 72 reviews were conducted, which represented 84 country-grain combinations. Documents reviewed included legislation, statutory instruments, standards, technical regulations and specifications, and monitoring guidelines.
As a result of the study, a checklist of 44 criteria has been created to as a guide to fortification legislation to improve future program development
