Overview

The objective of this paper was to study the intake of iron and folic acid in relation to anaemia prevalence in India and Cambodia.

The researchers used recent data from the Demographic and Health Surveys of India and Cambodia in a multivariate binary logistic regression analysis. Predictive Analytics Software for Windows (PASW) 18.0 was used to analyze individual level data.

It was found that antenatal care-seeking visits increased the likelihood of iron only or iron and folic acid supplement intake.
